A New Recruit: Steven Patrick, Hopewell Archaeologist Extraordinaire

Steve Patrick, like me, is a senior at Ohio State. He is studying Anthropology with minors in Classics and Art History. He works as a ranger at the Hopewell Culture National Historical Park in Chillicothe, OH, where by fate, I met him over the summer when the Wright State University Field School in Archaeology visited.

He applied to Ohio State's graduate program in Anthropology and just found out today he was accepted! I have asked him to be a contributor to this site in order to enlighten us on many aspects of archaeology. He shall be my chief American Archaeology correspondent and my expert on the Hopewell. Welcome aboard, Steve.

Here Steve is giving my field school a tour of the park.
